Candidates for admission to the Graduate Degree programme will be assessed on the basis of their application dossier, consisting of documents provided by the candidate that allow their curriculum to be reconstructed. All candidates are required to have a B2 level of English, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). A detailed description of the knowledge required for admission and the assessment methods will be provided in the Degree Programme Regulations. The programme has been designed to take into account the knowledge already possessed by students from different degree programmes who are interested in pursuing a course of study focused on gastronomic sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>International students who earned their degrees abroad<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students who have earned an academic degree at an Italian university<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Graduates holding a bachelor&#8217;s degree from the following degree classes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 L-2 &#8211; PHYS-06\/A \u2013 Physics for life sciences, the environment and cultural heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those in possession of other valid non-Italian degrees may still apply, pending approval by the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">competent bodies of the University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>International applicants who have acquired a valid and recognized first-cycle degree (university level) are eligible for selection.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students must hold a Bachelor&#8217;s degree (first-cycle undergraduate degree) that must be eligible and valid for entry into a second-cycle degree (Master of Science program).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0The degree (Bachelor&#8217;s degree\/undergraduate program) of origin must have the following characteristics:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 180 educational credits (ECTS);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 a duration of at least 3 years;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 equivalent to an Italian degree program;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 issued by a foreign university recognized by the educational system of the issuing country, enabling further study in a postgraduate program (Level II)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The competent bodies of the University reserve the right to assess the suitability of the candidates&#8217; qualifications, even if they have partially different characteristics from the above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-wrapper accordion-blucollapse\"><div class=\"accordion-header\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"requirements\" href=\"#requirements\"><h3><span class=\"icon-wrapper\"><i class=\"icon-plus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span> Requirements<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"collapse accordion-body\" id=\"requirements\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidates in possession of, or in the process of obtaining a three-year undergraduate degree from one of the Italian universities indicated in the \u201cRequired Academic Qualifications for Access to the Graduate Degree\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon graduation, such candidates must submit a self-certification of their undergraduate degree.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidates in possession of, or in the process of obtaining a three-year undergraduate degree from a non-Italian university accredited in an EU member country or equivalent, and compatible with one of the three-year undergraduate degrees indicated in the attached document \u201cRequired Academic Qualifications for Access to the Graduate Degree\u201d, valid for admission to an Italian university.Upon graduation, such candidates must submit a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diploma Supplement issued by the institution that conferred the undergraduate degree by the start of lessons and activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidates in possession of, or in the process of obtaining a three-year undergraduate degree from a non-Italian university accredited in a non-EU or equivalent country, and compatible with one of the three-year undergraduate degrees indicated in the attached document \u201cRequired Academic Qualifications for Access to the Graduate Degree\u201d, valid for admission to an Italian university.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon graduation, such candidates must:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Option a) obtain a Statement of Comparability (SoC) from Enic-Naric (CIMEA) CIMEA, the Italian branch of ENIC-NARIC (European Network of Information Centres \u2013 National Academic Recognition Information Centres) determines the equivalency of academic titles online by issuing a Statement of Comparability (SoC).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more information, please see this website: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimea.it\/EN\/pagina-ardi-automatic-recognition-database-italia\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.cimea.it\/EN\/pagina-ardi-automatic-recognition-database-italia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Option b) Obtain a Declaration of Value from the Italian Consulate. The DV is a document that certifies both the comparability and authenticity of study title. The DV can only be issued by the Italian consulate or embassy in the country where your Bachelor diploma was awarded; more specifically, the Italian embassy or consulate with jurisdiction over the area in which your degree was awarded. You should be aware that it can be a time-consuming process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Option c) For US graduates only: obtain a Bachelor diploma verification through National Student Clearinghouse. Those students with US titles may request a Bachelor diploma Verification from National Student Clearinghouse in lieu of either the DV or the SoC. The cost of the service is around 15 USD. More information can be found here online: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nscverifications.org\/degreeverify\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/nscverifications.org\/degreeverify\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A digital copy of the relevant legalization document must be received by the Registrar Office no later than the first day of the Program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0All <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non-EU candidates<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are required to pre-enroll through the consulate, a process that must be completed online through the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/universitaly-private.cineca.it\/index.php\/registration\/firststep\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Universitaly portal<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in order to then apply for a study visa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0As appointments are limited, such students should book an appointment with the relevant consular representative <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">even prior to their admission to the program<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in order to complete the pre-enrollment and visa request processes successfully and within the necessary time frame.
