The Academic Tables are more than just a simple university canteen. At the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, students view their lunch break as a moment of pleasure, conviviality, and education<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2023, the management of the UNISG Academic Tables has been entrusted to the Pedevilla\u00a0societ\u00e0 Benefit<\/a>, a leader in collective catering whose values reflect Pollenzo’s philosophy. This partnership places local and sustainable food at the heart of daily consumption, educating students to assume a leading role in the food industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to the collaboration with Pedevilla, the menus served at the Academic Tables continue to feature products cultivated in the UNISG educational garden<\/strong>, offering fresh and balanced dishes based on seasonal ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Academic Tables provide lunch service from 12:00 to 14:00<\/strong>. Throughout the day, from 8:00 to 16:00, the Academic Tables are open to students, teachers, guests, visitors, and staff for studying, holding meetings, or organizing events.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Quality ingredients sourced from the educational garden<\/strong>, ethical companies, and official<\/strong><\/span> suppliers<\/a><\/strong> of the Academic Tables are utilized daily to provide students with an array of delicious dishes.<\/span><\/p>\n

To reduce food waste<\/strong>, our students can reserve their meals through an online reservation system<\/strong> that ensures food production aligns with actual needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Guest Chefs<\/b><\/h4>\n

Pedevilla’s warm and professional staff cook unique dishes for our students with guest chefs<\/strong>. In fact, since 2014, chefs from all over the world have been invited to the university to prepare their most representative recipes for UNISG students, fully respecting the principles of “good, clean, and fair.”<\/span><\/p>\n

On these occasions, students have the opportunity to meet and converse with the chefs up close to learn about their philosophy and recipes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
