On May 15 and 16, 2025, the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo will host the Kick-Off Meeting of the European project ALL-Facts – Agroecology Living Labs for accelerating transition, funded under the European Partnership on Agroecology.
The project brings together 16 partners from six European countries and aims to support and accelerate the agroecological transition in Europe through the creation and strengthening of Agroecology Living Labs (ALLs)—territorial, collaborative living laboratories where agroecological practices can be tested, evaluated, and co-designed in real-life contexts.
During the meeting in Pollenzo, coordinated by the UNISG research team led by Paola Migliorini, participants will define the objectives, activities, milestones, and deliverables of the six Work Packages that structure the three-year project. Common evaluation methodologies will also be shared, including the APES Framework and the Me4ALL Framework, and the 11 involved ALLs will be presented, located in various European pedoclimatic contexts.
Beyond the technical and scientific aspects, the Kick-Off Meeting also aims to foster an open, safe, and collaborative working environment—essential for addressing the complex challenges of today’s agri-food systems in a transdisciplinary way.
The meeting will also include the participation of the Agroecology Partnership Call Office, representatives from National Funding Bodies, and will conclude with a convivial moment among partners, highlighting the importance of food as a tool for connection and exchange.
