Novecento, the prestigious revue of the Ferruccio Parri National Institute, the Italian house organ of the Historical Institutes of the Resistance and the Contemporary Era in Italy, has published a contribution by Prof. Gabriele Proglio, professor of Contemporary History at UNISG. The article is dedicated to teaching the history of food and his fruitful interactions with students.
Titled “History of Food, Pedagogy, and Public History: Experiences of University Teaching”, the article offers reflections on the teaching, pedagogical, and public history experiences that Prof. Proglio experimented with during the 2022/2023 academic year.

After an introduction on the teaching experience and reflections on the most appropriate educational and pedagogical methods for a multi- and trans-disciplinary theme, the podcast tool is emphasized as a teaching experience.
