Project Objectives and role UNISG: The project intends to create a sharing tool that will use the rich base of existing educational content in order to align and unify the various initiatives of the various European stakeholders. The goal is to create a portal of educational materials and best practices that can provide technical and methodological tools needed for both students and teachers using innovative techniques that have been successfully tested by other stakeholders and in other contexts. Another important goal is to increase the use of tools of E-learning in traditional educational practices.
The University shall prepare a training course on line (teaching and format) and will:
– Share the format of the course with other training institutions at an international level
– Train school teachers on the course objectives and instructional model (train the trainer)
– Create E-learning modules on granaries usable distance

Green Ideas: Innovation and state of art of education
Funder: European Union – LLP Grundtvig Workshops
Project Objectives and role UNISG: Green Ideas is an interdisciplinary and international event which attracts people and institutions interested on the topics of agriculture, biodiversity and rural education in order to explore and enable opportunities for collaboration. The overall aim is to capitalize on the collective experiences, good practices and innovative tools (including softwares). The participants and their organizations shall share and make accessible its educational content online in order to conceive and then launch a Green Learning Network, or a learning network of thematic “green” (agriculture, ecology, biodiversity, education …)

Researchers’ Night

Project Objectives and role UNISG: The project takes place simultaneously in Europe and wants to bring academic research into the streets in order to let the non-experts get in touch with the academic and scientific culture. During the event many researchers and their universities present experiments and projects they are working on and try to involve the public in small trials and through formal presentations and discussions on various research programs.
The university has a stand where the ongoing projects are showed and carries on a small experiment of sensory analysis where the public is actively involved.
