December 16 Graduation Day for the Master in Food Culture and Communications

Following the final thesis discussions, the Master in Food Culture and Communications: Human Ecology and Sustainability will come to an end on Friday, December 16.

26 students hailing from Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, United Kingdom, Norway, Israel, Canada the United States, Colombia, India, Iran will receive  their diplomas.

Laura Isabelle Bartels, from Frankfurt am Main (Germany), will discuss the thesis “Connecting Consumers and Farmers – Behavioural patterns, preferences and needs in the organic industry’s target groups”.

Mikhal Benishti, from Tel Aviv (Israel), will discuss the thesis “The food industry paradigm – can we alter it to go hand in hand with Slow Food philosophy and is it necessary?”.

Julia Johanna Crijnen, from Amsterdam (The Netherlands), will discuss the thesis “Farming the Future.
A Case Study of Young Alternative Farmers in Northern and Central Italy”.

Matteo D’Addazio, from Rome (Italy), will discuss the thesis “Project of developing a supply chain of sustainable agricultural in neighboring parks to big cities: The case of Parco Agricolo di Milano Sud”.

Camilla Francesca De Nardi, from Milan (Italy), will discuss the thesis “Poisoned Prosecco Vineyards and the Downside of an Italian Icon: analyses of pesticides’ impact on the environment and human health”.

Johan Henrik Kintzell Frøstrup, from Bergen (Norway), will discuss the thesis “Towards a more sustainable farming of Atlantic Salmon”.
