
On Thursday, July 21st starting at 9:00 AM, the Aula Magna of the Cascina Albertina will host graduation sessions for the undergraduate and graduate degrees in Gastronomic Sciences and Promotion and Management of the Gastronomic and Touristic Patrimony, respectively.
There are six students who will conclude their course of study – these are their names and theses:
UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE
Leone Marco Maria Distefano, 22, from Milan, will discuss the thesis titled “Phenomenology of the Wine Kit – Analysis of the Regulatory, Economic and Sociocultural Framework Linked to Home Wine Making”, thesis advisor prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Giacomo Andrea Figueroa Cuneo, 28, from Chile / Italy, will discuss the thesis entitled “Foodways in Exile: Memories, Adaptation and the Construction of Identity. The Case of Chilean Exiles in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland”, thesis advisor prof. Simone Cinotto.
Valentina Gritti, 22, from Magnago (MI), will discuss the thesis titled “Spirulina, the Nutritious and Sustainable Microalgae”, thesis advisor prof. Andrea Pezzana.
Duru Begum Ozupek, 22, from Turkey, will discuss the thesis titled “The Food Culture of the Chumash Indians of Southern California: Self-Sufficiency and Sustainability in a Traditional Native American Community”, thesis advisor prof. Simone Cinotto.
