”Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia” with Chefs Fabio Pisani and Alessandro Negrini, and featuring special guests Aimo and Nadia at the Unisg Academic Tables

Since the 1960s, Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia — a Relais & Châteux member with two Michelin stars — has been an unmissable destination for anyone seeking out the best Italian cuisine has to offer in Milan.

Aimo and Nadia Moroni helped write the history of Italian haute cuisine, and now helming up this unique Luogo (“place”) are their daughter Stefania and chefs Fabio Pisani and Alessandro Negrini, who are continuing their work of quality, research and innovation based on Italian gastronomy while bringing a new spirit and consciousness.

These days the restaurant is known as much for its cooking as its spaces shaped by an artistic-architectural site-specific project in progress, which fosters a unique interweaving between art, food, performances and tastings.

Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia will be taking over the Academic Tables on Tuesday March 21 with a menu highlighting flavors from across Italy, from the Alps to the islands.

The menu will start with pureed cicerchie (wild chickpeas) from the Puglian Dauni Mountains with marasciuolo (a wild herb from Daunia, Puglia), fig must, candied lampascioni (wild hyacinth bulbs), Nolche olives and mostacciolo biscuits. This will be followed by Omaggio a Milano (“Dedicated to Milan”), tortelli filled with Fassone veal ossobucco and marrow with a veal stock reduction, Sardinian saffron and Bonati Parmesan. It will close with Tirami-sud: yogurt and mascarpone cream, coffee biscuit, ricotta flavored with bergamot and Sicilian capers candied in honey.
