Turin’s Zheng Yang is a historic traditional Chinese restaurant. Owned by the Ling family, it was opened by Ling King Chou in 1986, with the aim of offering food as authentic as possible that reflected the genuine gastronomic culture of the Middle Kingdom.

The restaurant is currently headed up by the three Ling siblings, who are continuing the family style, based on high-quality ingredients and innovative experimentation, while always respecting Chinese gastronomic culture.
Silvia Ling will be cooking at the Academic Tables in Pollenzo on June 12 and 13. Her first menu will feature vegetable rolls; steamed rice noodles with black soy beans and vegetables; wok-cooked chicken with lemongrass, peppers and Szechuan pepper and tang yuan (glutinous rice balls) in broth with cane sugar and sesame seeds.
On June 13, she will be preparing a wakame seaweed salad, vegetable dumplings with satay sauce, chicken thighs with spring onion and ginger and for dessert an unusual green tea tiramisù.
