From May 9 to 12, the sixth Slow Fish event, dedicated to fish in all its shapes and forms, will be organized and staged in the Old Port of Genoa by Slow Food and the Liguria Regional Authority.
Not only will the University of Gastronomic Sciences have a stand of its own to allow visitors to find out all about us and our courses; 57 students from the UNISG Slow Food Convivium will also be on hand to make Slow Fish a unique sensory experience.
Besides laying on a Personal Shopper service — guided tours among the stands, fishermen and producers to delve into the world of fish, from seafood specialties to tales of the sea — students will also stage educational workshops at the Ludoteca, a special children’s play center, photography exhibitions and EAT-INs with fishermen, artisans, cooks and visitors.
The aim of our future gastronomes will thus to be to help visitors to explore the sheer vastness of the world of fish through personalized tours and information services.
