No one remembers who came up with the idea, who was awake enough to even dream up this project. An experiment, a challenge, an exploration. 10 months, 10 diets, 3 girls, 1 blog. We are used to mind-opening ideas about food. It’s our life. It is what we study. It is what we do. Day in, day out. Eating and cooking is a core part of our daily routine, travelling around the world to experience first hand and to visit the motherland of various foods and cultural traditions. We eat everything, no food is ever turned down.

But what would it be like if certain foods were forbidden? If our diet became restricted? How would our body react to it? Our social environment, our mood, our knowledge, would they change as well? How would our geographical origin, backgrounds that have roots in Colombia, Belgium and a mix of England, the caribbean and africa influence changes in diet?
It has nothing to do with losing weight, we realized a long time ago that even thinking about a slimmer figure had a negative effect on our moods and self-confidence.

10 months, 10 diets, 3 girls, 1 blog. It’s about discovering our own bodies, increasing our knowledge of ingredients, rekindling our creativity in the kitchen and testing the limits of our self-control. There will be ups and downs, good days and bad days and almost certainly lots of craving for that months forbidden food. but we are not alone. We are just 3 girls eating our way through 10 diets in 10 months.
